My summer workshops and painting holidays at The Old Stone House are now finished for 2016 and I have started my autumn classes in Suffolk, which are listed here and details of what we will be doing at classes, here.  Please email me for further details or to book: beginners are very welcome but some classes are already full, so please be quick if you are interested.

I have been illustrating books on diverse subjects over the past year or so: 'Plant Love: The Scandalous Truth About the Sex Life of Plants' and 'The Scything Handbook' are both published this month while other recent books include: 'Skeletons: The Extraordinary Form and Function of Bones''The Book of Frogs'; 'Whales, Dolphins and Porpoises: A Natural History and Species Guide'; 'The Book of Beetles' and 'How to Make Coffee: the science behind the bean'.

2016 proved to be our best ever year of 7 and 10 day holidays at The Old Stone House in Turkey. It's not all about painting: we offer wonderful food and trips to some truly wonderful locations that most tourists would be unaware of.  Feedback has been terrific and we are now looking forward to meeting new and returning guests in 2017.  Holidays will begin on 14 May and the cost is £695 per person for seven days (£596 for non painters or those sharing) or £850 (£795) for ten days.  For full details please see our Turkish Painting Holidays website.
